All in all, a comfortable and clean place to stay in a great location and at a reasonable price. Note there is a surcharge for using your credit card. There is a little welcome pack of treats when you arrive and a “goodbye” bag when you leave. Staff were generally friendly and accommodating.

Laundry service is also available for a reasonable fee. Rooms come with small hand towels proper bath towels are available with a small deposit. Heated floors were a bonus! Each room comes with a little fridge. Rooms are small, simply furnished but comfortable and clean. Our family of 4 took 2 rooms across the corridor from each other. Simple breakfast of toast and cereal available every morning in the kitchen on the (I think) 3rd floor or in the little reception area. The hostel is about 5 stories tall which includes the rooftop sitting area.

Despite this, street is quiet we had no problems with noise. Hostel itself is up a sloping street (“cartoon street”) which has convenience stores, restaurants (including a 24 hour one!) and shops. Bus stop to catch the airport bus is also 5 minutes away. Hostel is brilliantly located about 5 minutes walk to Myeongdong.
